Tea Party

So, yesterday I held my first '1950's' tea party (didn't involve a lot of tea) but there were cakes. The only ones that turned out vaguely ok were the mojito cupcakes (humming bird), thanks to Tilda and her fab housewife routine.  Other than that we had a bit of a cake catastrophe (it sunk but tasted really good!!) We made vanilla cupcakes as well but we never got around to icing them...
A few of my friends came round all dressed up and the general merriment commenced.

  1. hey Zoe!
I know it's been a while since you wrote for the contest on my blog but I've picked three (because I couldn't pick just 1) winners and you were my number 2! The contest winners are interviewed by me for a blog post (in this case, you three will be spaced out/ one each month) and you're going to be second (for October) but I'd like to get the posts ready as soon as possible! The interview would be about 7-15 questions, and either you could take pictures yourself (depending on the questions like if you'd like to photograph your fave jacket or shoes, etc) or if you give me permission I'll pull picks from your blog.

    email me back at

hope we can figure something out
    thanks, becca
